The right assistant for the fire and disaster protection: Volkswagen will present two different solutions designed for fire services at Interschutz 2015 on June 8th. Highlights of Volkswagen's exhibition stand are two current generation emergency vehicles: a Caddy-based Fire Engine and a new Transporter T6 Command Vehicle.

Whether it comes coordinating the fire department, the physical fire fighting operation or the advanced use during firefighting, Volkswagen will occupy approximately 500 m² of exhibition space with innovative tailored vehicles at Interschutz 2015. Premiering at this year's trade show is the sixth generation Transporter Kombi as a command vehicle, equipped with a traffic controller, working lights and front flashers in the grille among other modifications. Another highlight is the latest Caddy Kombi as a fire-fighting vehicle with flashing lights and a special signaling system.

Volkswagen has also created the Golf Alltrack command car, acting as another specialized vehicle that, among other things features a special key panel and the accident data recorder UDS. Attendees will also see an Amarok Rapid Intervention Vehicle with a 3-seater bench in the second row offering seating for six passengers, as well as a hard top with integrated LED lighting and a water tank with 250 liter capacity.

Two Crafters complete the extensive range of exhibits. One as a portable pump vehicle (TSF) with double cabin, 2nd row seating for 4 and an all-aluminum box body with a pneumatic LED lighting mast.  The other Crafter has been converted to all-wheel drive, and features a hard-mounted water pump.
