Anyone know if u can get the Votex long fogs cheaper than at parts4vws??? Just wondering thanks

In a recent add, Tuning Zubehor has Hella long fogs for $199 smoked or clear. If these really are Hellas I bet they do not suffer the heat issues as with the Votex.

I think I remember seeing several posts saying that even the Hella's housing is plastic, and since that is what seems to be the issue, i'd do some more research into this...

No dead serious. I got the switch that does them for 35 and the fogs for 30 and the wiring harness for 20

it doesn't matter, hella or votex, they both *may melt. I bought the votex, and have had them for about a year now with no problems.
BTW: its not the lenses that melt either, it's the housing that sits inside the bumper. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

The best I have found was 150.00 for the complete set plus shipping. That's pretty good I think.
