VR6 Conversion in a 1998 GTI 2.0 - List of Parts that I have, what else do I need...
I sourced a 98' VR6 for my 98' GTI 2.0 this is what I have for the conversion do I need anything else & what dont I need...
I have:
Motor, Trans, Ecu, Harness, Cluster, Master Cylinder/Clutch Slave, Fans, Rad Support, Pedal assembly, Shifter box, Shift cables, Downpipe, brake Booster, Cat, suspension, 5 lug conversion, & exhaust...
Do I need anything else...
Do I need the subframe?

Yes you need the subframe as the rear mount pickup on the VR6 is in a different location on the VR6.

you don't need the subframe your 2.0 one is exactly the same..........
