hi guys i want to paint my vr6's engine cover a grayish or possibly a silver color and do i need to sand the plastic down or can i paint over it?also what color or gray or silver do you think would look good on it?also will i need plastic spray paint?thanks

no sanding...just make sure you buy the right paint. no opinion on color

i like to sand, but i did this manly because i filled in the letters to have a smooth cover.. you can paint right over it fine, with the correct paint.
