I will soon be buying a passat with a vr6. the passat is trash but everything is the motor is great. what is going to be hard to do in the swap into a 1986 golf gti. thanks for the help.

Hey check out www.a2-vr6.com there is a lot of helpful information that should help you with your swap. Another person to talk to is EricD (not sure if that is the correct spelling). Here is Eric D's email address: [email protected] he can hook you up with gobs of info. Also if the dash is salvageable from that Passat he can help walk through installing the dash as he done both the dash swap and also vr6 in his 85 (or 86 can't remember). Hope this helps.
