This post is more of a kill story. Im sure this is the power we VR6 owners look for. So here goes:
Last night, I went driving around just to test out my nitrous system some more. From afar, I notice a BMW following me on this 1-lane road. The 1-lane road turns into 2.. then 3 about another mile or so. He/she speeds up past me, and I thought Ill back off. Then, they slow down... revving their motor on me. I thought to myself then "heh, damn beemer". To my surprise it wasnt a 325, but a 330 coupe. But they time, the revving got straight to me. I clicked on my bottle, dropped to 2nd gear, and gassed it. We were side by side, just before I hit 3rd gear. By 3rd, I was pulling on them. Not by a whole lot, just a 1/4 car length. We ended up shutting down around 4th gear.. about 100 mph. He/she didnt even stop to pull over, they just kept going on their way.
On my way home, I thought .. "damn, not bad.. had a good 1/2 car length on him towards the end." The grin on my face stayed on me till I got home. Heh, showed him/her whatsup.
** I do not recommend street racing. Take it from me, a guy that got 2 12-point tickets underage. But when a road goes straight for 15 miles, and their isnt any traffic and it isnt a residence area... its ok to give your car a little push
