is there a trick or tool to gett them in and out

that little plastic tool wrapped around the hood prop up rod...that'll work...be careful though...it's plastic http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Try to get the right tool. I changed mine using all kinds of stuff... ended up damaging one of the new wires.
