you are right, this is the golf IV wagon, but vw is testing the mkV under a mkIV body. you can see that there has been added 50mm in the B pillar. also, this is almost how the interior will look like, obviously better.

check this out the interior cluster / wheel/climatronic are similar to this car, I wonder if those pieces will finds itself in VW ?

If you look at the interior shot, you can see some MkV partsbin doo-dads rigged inside there. The steering wheel and HVAC knobs from the MkV-based Touran, for example, seem to have made it there. I'd expect the interior to sit somewhere between the Touran's and the A3's.
