I got a car care kit from VW today. It includes car wash, wax, auto glass cleaner, Interior Exterior proctection solution, and a nice blue tarry cloth. Anyone else get this?

my guess is you have a lease, right??
If so it's so you return their car nice and purty.
All I got was a membership to VW Club which is bascially a stupid CD and a sticker.

I got my 2001 Jetta WE about four months ago and they sent me those same items. I haven't used them yet...but it's cool to say they sent you one too!

From what I think was decided upon is all leases get the cleaning kit. And only some dealers shell out the money for a VW Club membership.

The care kit comes from VW Credit, not VW. I purchased and financed through VW Credit - did not lease - and VW credit sent the care kit to me. Arrived last week, purchase was 22 SEP.

I am through a lease with VW Credit (VCI) ...and I think you only get it if you go through them wether it be a lease or loan.
It's pretty cool stuff though

I got it too! wash, glass cleaner, protectant and that REALLY cool BLUE towel. I also got the CD, which is ok, if you play the Midtown Madness Demo. Thanks VW! It only cost me $400 a month and I get $15 of free stuff!
