Its probably an email notification from a pm. The site has been under attack with PM spam today.

I believe the site may have actually been hacked. At least access to the user/password information. I received an attempted extortion email, with my password (only used here) included, asking for $1066 via bitcoin. I've deleted it and heard nothing else.
