not true at all, i switch from 17" Fikse's w/ 215/45/17's to 16" Schmidts with 205/40/16 and lost nearly 7hp and 7 ft tq....
same dyno with no difference in mods....

So you lost power when you went to a small tire/rim. I'd dare say different dynos will give you different results for both sizes. Also, 7HP is still far less than any drivetrain loss.

yup the gear ratio calculators went from .63 on the 17's to .60 on the 16's
while different dynos will give considerably different numbers, even the same dyno different location, but 7whp from one month to another is considerable

I would like to see a before/after dyno of an install to see how noticeable (if any) the change is.
