W8 sport package wheels

Has anyone purchased the BBS 17inch wheels that the W8's with the sport package come with to put on their non-W8 passats? What is the name of this wheel and is it available through VW?

BBS Madra's. Haven't seen them on Tire Rack or anything like that...

These wheels are called Madras and you can buy them from AAARIMS.COM for much less than the dealership would charge!
Honestly, the Madras are BBS RXII knockoffs, and the originals are lighter and look much better. Also check out the BBS RX's, as well.

I've got them on my 1.8T

Yes, they are OEM, not the replicas.
I bought them from a guy who bought a W8 Sport Package and threw on 19's.

They look nice - do they weigh a lot? I'd consider them if they carried 18s. I'm happy with my R58s though...

If you want 18's, then snag a set of BBS RXII's or RX's.

Heh - can't afford the BBS line, it's why I got the Rondells. The OEM Madras seem a little more affordable. But I'm just wishing I had gotten 18s for looks, my 17s are a little harder to damage with pot holes and stuff....
