want to install shift light
i was wanting to install a shift light in my car. i have asked a couple of people about which wire to tap in to for the tach lead. i have heard 2 different wires to tap in to 1 being the green and black traced wire and the other purple and black traced wire. i dont want to tap into the wrong wire and smoke something like a sensor. also the shift light iam goin to use is a newwer style msd light ( looks kinda like a alien eye ) does any body know which wires on the inside i have to cut for it to work on my vr6 car theres 3 wires a red,blue and gray and help would be great thanks
