Re: Wanted for 16V 1.8 87' Scirocco (boostedsuby)

Don't know what to offer you, though I'm far from new to imports. Just never had to change a rack out. Mines an original. So why the manual. You like the control better. Is it cheaper to go manual. I never liked power when it comes to steering. It has to much ovr steer. Let me look into used pricing and I can then give you a better offer unless you already have a price seated in your head. Let me know!

Thanks,

Re: Wanted for 16V 1.8 87' Scirocco (markeysscirocco)

I like the simplicity, the weight loss, the abscence of parasitic devices, the road feel.......I could go on. I put new strut bearings on today and thought about tearing into the rack, but there are deer to chase around the woods this time of year. Maybe Ill start tomorrow.
