Does anyone know how to decipher the VW option codes found on the paper tag found in the rear of the Golf and the trunk of the Jetta?
I had to clean-out my J3's trunk and I foun the tag attatched to the fuel pump cover. I know my car is a TREK version but the previous owner stripped off my of the accessories before trade-in and I know the tag says what was installed originally.
PLease help.
I posted a faximilie of the data on the Golf3 and Jetta3 forum.
Thanks for any input or website.

Re: Wanted: VW option code break down mk3 (Carnut70)

Hit up vwguild, he works for a dealer and can probably help you out. I see him hanging out in the Passat forums usually, but you should be able to do a search for his username and send him an email or 'IM'.

Re: Wanted: VW option code break down mk3 (Red Baron Golf)

VWoA customer service called to tell me for 15min. they could not help me. "Try the dealer" they I told them that the dealer said they "were too busy try customer service". confused: The VWoA is "about as useful as a screen-door on a submarine"
