water dripping into car?

i don't know if it's normal, but whenever i open my car door and it's raining/finished raining, water from the foamy part of the door (inside) would drip onto the seats. they would be BIG drops of water. i don't see that happening to my friend's gti... it's getting pretty annoying 'cause when you get into the car you're pretty much sitting on a wet seat...
has anyone had this happen to them before?

Water doesn't get into my car. It will get onto the door sill and the inside of the door frame, but never onto the seats or floor mats. Sounds like you need your weather stripping replaced. The dealer should cover this for free (since the car is new).
