Check the Vortex Classifieds -- they are broken down by Model Type (MK1, MK2, MK3 etc.), then by parts and cars. Most folks posting will indicate 8V, 16V, 1.8, 2.0 etc. where applicable in their posts. FR

i just think it would be easier to find without sifting threw endless threads just or a few things right just about every other thread has one

I'll give ya your first listing (but you may not like it).
FS: 1.8L 8v long block (will split). RP code block with 1mm overbore 10:1 cast pistons (1825cc). Complete with oil pump, water pump, filter mount, etc. Cylinder head is a Digifant large valve G60 model w/o camshaft but have an almost new hydraulic G casting which I can install in it. Engine has about 10K km on it and ran very strong until it was pulled. Shipping is from Germany and the cost will set you back more than the engine cost so think about it before asking :laugh:
