actually i was thinking about replacing the rears with lexan or something similar. less worries on broken windows and you can brew up some pop-outs!

Pennies??? SOLD!!!

I used a stripping from an auto interior supply house. They attach a foam seal to the side of a 1/4" 'cup' kinda like on rabbit door stripping. The foam was a 1/2 inch (theres also a 1/4" and a 1") and I think I ended up using 20ft. Ill get some pics...As soon as I get off my but and get out to the car again (hey Im lazy and I took it appart Hahaa)

I think the reason people are not doing it is that the glass/lexan needs to be curved. I just sold my set and was thinking about tring something like that too but then couldn't figure out how to pull it off.

i bet if you took your stock rear windows to a sunroof shop they could drill holes in them and track down some appropriate latches, because they drill glass for non oem sunroofs all the time, and use very similar latches. if you found a competant shop, i bet itd be a good place to start

I bet if you used that same sunroof shop they could "magically" stretch the stock windows to make them bigger like the Happich ones.
