[Fahrvergnugen]

I just got this, and I am trying to fit it into the car now. Thing is, it won't slide home at the front center mount, it is actually too low.
Background; this is in an '83 GTI. The bracket is for a Mk1 Scirocco, which they recommended since I am 6'4". I was told it would just slip in, but it is too low, it actually hits the floor under the center slider...
Am I supposed to fabricate something to go to the tip to make this work?

Any and all help is appreciated
(PS-I will contact them Monday, but I am curious if anyone has had this trouble before. The more info I have, the better.)

my corbeau cr-1's were a *****. Wedge did them too and i had to chop the **** out of them so my 6'2" ass would fit in my Scirocco II

wait, aren't mk1 Sciroccos and Westy Rabbits different tracks? like the adjusters are on the wrong side?

I think so. But that would not affect the problem with this bracket.
