i have a 00' jetta vr6 n the battery will drain itself over night unless i unplug the f14 and the f17 mini fuses which are the convience fuses running the windows door locks and the radio i think the problem lies in the factory amplifier for the stereo but not quite sure does ne one no where the amp is so i can swap it with the one in my parts car n check it out or if any1 else had this problem pls any help is appreciated this car is starting to irritate me

Replace the radio, the amplifier lies within it from what I believe, I had an issue with my whole left side of my cars speakers giving me a feedback noise and not playing...if I was you I would scan it with Ross-Tech, that will tell you, down to the part number, what part is making it happen or at least tell you if soemthing isn't working or a module isn't coded correctly. Funny enough I got my rosstech scan tool from WISH, came with the program to download and was fully licensed for 100 bucks after shipping.
