hey guys.
i bought a 2.0 last month, needed a new trans. tach was dead and oil light was blinking. guy told me the oil pressure switch would fix it. i replaced it and light is still on.
when i start my car to go to work in the morning at around 8:30, its about 65 60 degrees out.
my tach works and the oil light doesnt come on.
after i leave work at around 6 or 7 or drive my car after i turn it off,
my tach is dead and the oil light comes on and blinks.

any ideas? its doesnt make sense that these two are related but maybe theres something i dont know?

thanks guys.

If the tach AND oil light work at the same time, and then don't work at the same time...
Signs are pointing more to a faulty cluster (internal sodering) than actual faulty components.
