I was browsing ebay today looking at Ferrari F355s. I'm not actually in the market for one, but I've wanted an F355 since I was a kid and they are starting to fall into a doable price point. I know they're expensive to maintain, but I never realized it was THIS bad.

This car is up for sale for $49,999

Here are the receipts from some recent repairs:

Ferraris are stupid expensive to maintain, lot of people who finally end of being able to get one at a depreciated rate...end up dumping them due to the maintenance costs.

And move to Porsche or go back to Porsche...:)

Yikes, that's a hard one to swallow. You gotta pay to play, I suppose.

Needed a rebuild at 24k miles. Wow.

edit:
Okay I'm going to say it right here and now. Ferrari's are JUNK. They are beautiful, they sound amazing, and feel wonderful but in terms of mechanical quality they are JUNK. Something I've noticed over the years (from my computer monitor of course, but one cannot help noticing trends).
