Went to the dealer for an oil change...

I Gave them a case of 5w-30 with 6 quarts in it. When I got the car back only 2 bottles were left in there.
Hmm 4 quarts of oil ?? Dont our cars hold like 2.2 quarts?
i'm not gonna call and say anything cuz im chipped and I dont want to start trouble, but how crappy is that?

capacity is slightly over 4 quarts - close to 4 liters (which is about 4.25 quarts) Also - why people purchase their own oil for during the maintenance period is beyond me - my dealer uses Castrol Synthethetic blend. NOw that I'm gonna be doing my own changes - I'll go to full synthetich (mobil 1 most likely).

Pretty crappy that you didn't read your manual. Seriously, does no one read them anymore? I guarantee you that your manual covers it. Vortex is a great place to ask questions, but I'd suggest holding out and asking the really hard ones when you need to.

Does anyone ever have a problem with dealerships flashing your chip? A buddy of mine took his Jetta in and when he got it back it was driving like a stock Jetta.

No probs with dealer, other then my suspension they have no reason to suspect a chip, or even look for that matter...
and Sorry i didnt use the search function, i was lazy...

I wasn't trying to be either, but how much oil the car holds is really a silly question. It's thoroughly covered in the owners manual. Now if he wanted to ask what type of bulb to use when your headlight or turn signal blows then I could see asking that because it's not covered in the manual. It simply says "let the dealer do it."
I guess the MKIV forum has just turned me off to lots and lots of silly questions.
