were is the intercooler??

Does anyone know were the intercooler is on the golf 1.8T?.........
and would it be possible to run a pipe or something to the intercooler to get more air to it?...has anyone done anything like this before?

It's right behind the lower grille on the passenger side . And there's already a duct there to channel air to it.

Yeah. Plus a front mount looks

If you want a cooler intake charge, you can also try a mister setup. Sprays water (or whatever) directly onto the i/c.
