LOL, If they want a place for their purse they should check the counter in the kitchen. J/K...but anyways, I do agree, bench seats suck. Have you ever seen a bench recarro?

I love how things like bench seats are considered practicle by the writer, but buckets aren't. As though a comfortable and safe driving position are somehow superfluous. Some people will just never get it.

There is something to be said for a seat that will properly support your body, both in terms of comfort and safety. A bench seat is hardly practical for those who travel long distances or spend lots of time in their car for ergonomic reasons. Almost no cars have bench seats in the front, and thats likely for a *gasp* practical reason, not because all men think bench seats are 'lame'....

Not uncommon to see higher end cars w/nav systems that also have TV reception when parked.
Trash bin--while I agree that's a useful feature, it always surprises me how many more women than men I know that have lots of trash in their cars. Used coffee cups, fast food wrappers, junk mail, random pieces of paper...are my female aquaintances especially slobby? Or is this more common overall?

3) Cross drilled rotors and huge 4 pot pistons
4) Rally Heritage
5) Lack of interior amenities
6) Excessive engine noise
7) Massive turbo
8) Terrible gas mileage
9) God like cornering
10) Non tilting race seats that make getting into the back impossible

Bench seats rule, IMO. I don't mean the sort of bench seats you'd find on a base pickup though. My beater car is a 97 Taurus that has two front buckets with a flat upholstered surface between them, plus an armrest that flips up, essentially making it a bench seat. Great for making out and stuff.

The cool thing is that the flat upholstered surface flips out and forward to become a console with storage and cupholders. I have to say, Ford designers were really on the ball with that one.
So basically, my Taurus has the best of both worlds.

Ummm... What car has a dedicated "purse place"? Why can't she just put it on the passenger's seat, on the backseat, on the floor behind the driver's seat or into the trunk? I don't see any other places in other cars either.

12. 110V outlet that can drive a hair dryer.
13. Little palm rest to apply nail polish.

16. Fold out lip stick set.
17. Visor mounted eyebrow plucker.
