What type of quotes or prices paid on body kits from your local shops?? Did my new wheels and tires tonight (thanks for f$^(% me over RALF! you suck!) and kit is next week.
So trying to get an idea of what I can expect to see/hear from the shops when I go for some quotes! Please post some numbers that you got either from quotes or the actual price you ended up paying for yours prepped & painted and what you had done! I will be getting 4 skirts done
edit: forgot to mention that I will be installing it myself! So just looking for prep and paint est. Not labor. Thanks

usually a full body kit, skirts, front, rear painted and installed should run you about $1000. haven't gotten it done myself, but some of my friends have, and that's around what you should expect.

I paid $750 for front valence, front grille, euro strip, side skirts and rear valance.

I had: front bumper, front spoiler, side skirts, grille, rear bumper apron, rear wing. All this refinished, painted, installed $1k with about a 20% discount.

here's what i was quoted from wetworks garage in orange county, CA:
oettinger grill: $30
side skirts: $75 each
valences: $125 each
paint is $40, or free as long as i get multiple parts painted at once.
so the total for all my parts to be painted = $430.
i think that's a great deal, especially since many vortex members have recommended that shop. i've checked their website, and it certainly looks like they know what they're doing. they also know their VWs, so i won't have to worry about the install job. an added bonus is that they claim to know how to paint valences right (with the right amount of flex additive). puts my mind at ease...
