Come on guys, somebody changed the fogs to PIAA's ions or put xenon match in their city lights

And i did search it for awhile on here, and there's no straight answer for the 07's.

As far as I know, the 07 uses the same bulbs as the 06. I changed the fog light bulbs in my 06 GTI to Hoen Endurance bulbs. They provide a bright yellow light. Check out this link for a discount on Hoen bulbs: http://www.hoen-usa.com/vwdrivers.htm There's also the xenomatch bulbs which provide light similar in color to your HID projectors.

Sylvania 168 4.5w wedge

Bulb Replacement Guide

The bulbs necessary to cover the whole car are as follows:
Dome Lights (front and back):
5x 192/168 = M4
1x 3175 39mm = M28
Front Parking Lights (left and right):
2x 192/168 = M4
License Plate Light (2 of them):
2x 3175 39mm = M28
Foot Well Lights (left and right):
2x 192/168 = M4
Rear Hatch/Trunk Area Light:
1x 3175 39mm = M28(though the bulb is bigger---->should fit)
Totals:
9x 192/168 = M4
4x 3175 39mm = M28
Those are the stock bulb part #s.
For the Polarg bulbs:
192/168 are numbered "M4"
3175 39mm are numbered "M28"
M4:

M28:

So in summary, and since they come 2 to a pack, you need 5 sets of the M4s and 2 sets of the M28s to cover the 13 bulbs. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Osram/Sylvania has this type of thing as well you can probably go to a decent auto parts place and buy them...plus pretty good quality from Sylvania/Osram....

I've only seen 9006 in the fogs, but 06 models, USA, some people were reporting that they had H11's or something else. Best way is to 2x check the bulb before you order it. Here's some pics and instructions on how to check/replace 'em. It's not hard http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Wow didn't expect this to come back. But anyway the city lights were W5W and the fogs were 9006, I got the Hoen Endurance and they look pretty good, I'm interested to see how they work in bad weather.

I think I posted this above, but my GLI (06) had 9006 bulbs in the Fogs. I ordered H11's originally (I think I used the same reference) and I now have an unopened set of white H11's somewhere in the garage. I had to order 9006's.

Interesting...a 6 watt lamp for turn signals..Never have seen this before....is it halogen ? What is the Osram bulb number?
