I borrowed my buddies truck in college. He asked me "you know how to drive stick right?" I said "sure, I've been driving stick all my life". He drove himself to class, then I waited until he was out of ear shot and ground my way all over town. I must of taken 20k miles off his transmission. I learned though!
If you can't find it, grind it!

An early '80's 4 cyl. 4 spd Mustang belonging to my girlfriend at the time. She didn't know how to drive it that well herself. She would freak out when I downshifted into 3rd to pass.

1989 Nissan Sentra with not too many miles on it (still was pretty new). first car i ever drove though was a 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.
