I'm thinking about the GIAC chip for my next mod, but first I want to here what people have to say about this and other chips. Whats the best place to get the GIAC chip? Are they programmable..for example..for future mods such as cams, manifold, etc.? Any how-to's on how to install this chip to the 1995 OBD 1 ECU (these are the ECU's which the chip has to be soldered on to)? BTW..its for a 95 Jetta GLX http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: What chip to get for a Jetta VR6? (MigAce312)

I really like my GIAC, much preferred over my brother's P-chip (or was it Q-chip).
I think OBDI requires soldering, I'm pretty sure they can be upgraded for future modifications, but these questions could be answered definitely by the seller. I bought mine from AWE
