What color GTI?

CONFUSED! WHAT COLOR GTI?!

I'm confused. I don't know which color GTI I want! I think black looks cool, but it always looks dirty, and you can see every single flaw in the paint.
I like Tornado Red, but it's RED! It will attract a lot of attention from the cops , and I don't usually think red cars look all that great with aftermarket rims and other body mods. I dunno what it is....I mean, red is my favorite color, but I don't know if a "hooked up" red GTI would look cool enough!

Which leads me to Matchstick Red. I've never seen one in person, but they look nice in the brochures!
And finally, Reflex Silver. I think that Silver looks great, but....no offense, but I think everyone and their grandma has a silver GTI or Golf.

Anyone that has GTIs that are modified in any of these colors, please post pics! I NEED HELP!

don't get silver.
Do they offer the GTI in the dark blue color I think it was indiglo?

the tornado red gti can be summed up in one word, ventodan. check out the feature on his car this website did. his car looks completely different now, but it was still sweet back then. yes, alot of people do have silver, but its a good color. indigo blue is a nice color too, they braught that back for 2002, its a really dark blue, so it will show imperfections just like black, personally, i would go for the matchstick or the tornado red.

flash red is the best color(I know you cant get it anymore). I am constantly getting complements on the color with many people asking what color I repainted it with(never been repainted). I believe Tornado red is very similar to Flash. Heres my lightly hooked up Golf(not a GTI but oh well, they look the same)in Flash red

OMG that is suuhweet! What kit is that? I have a tornado red GTi and I wasnt to sure what would look good on there, but that is baddass!

I got the kit almost two years ago before all this group buy business so I paid a little more than what the kit can be found for today. I got the kit without the rear valance for about 1300. I forget how much the paint and body work cost.

hey MRP2001GTI, is it true that matchstick red looks different under different "types" of light? or rather, the color changes under different types of light? i.e. flourescent, bulbs, halogen, or others?

Get matchstick red, I think its awesome! ever since I first saw it in a showroom. I have a silver golf gls 1.8T but definetly would of gotten MSR if I could of.

Yes Kenny it has pearl in the paint so the color seems to change with the lighting.
