right... I don't think they have... Unless it is a newer designed bushing with the new passat (2001.5+)

I have read unofficial material stating that the A4 control arm design has been revised a few times. In the 2000 A4 press release, however, a redesign was specifically mentioned. I don't know if that resulted only in an improvement or a complete fix.

I had a '99 Passat with the"old" design. When I got my '00 Variant, I noticed that the bushing was different. The new one was much larger and appeared to be made of a different material.
So I think they changed it.
