Installed rear footwell lights and upgraded to a highline 3C8 CECM to run them as ambient lighting. Also now supports cornering lights in preparation for a fog light retrofit.

Replaced a Bank 1 O2 sensor that had gone bad. What a difference it made having the correct O2 sensor socket.

3mm LEDs with LED holders drilled into the door handle. Wired into the door controller and then coded.

Comes on with headlights/parkers and is dimmable from the interior switch.

Installed a set of the under seat drawers.

Ignore the colour difference as I got them cheap and you can't even see them under the seats anyway.

Are you running the 17z or 18z? Any idea what wheel width and offset I'd need to run these brakes? Really want them on my R32 but don't think my current wheels would accommodate them.

18z, I'm running Kathoums 18x8 et 50 with 12.5 mm spacers and BBS CK 3 piece wheels 18x8.5 et 45 with no spacers.

Thanks. So the 18x8.5s clear the 18z calipers just fine? Fitment looms tight in the photo. That's the wheels size I have but wasn't sure if it would clear

Magnaflow is much louder overall unlike stock which in 3rd and above was almost silent. The drone on the Magnaflow isn't even that unpleasant/loud. The raspiness from the stock exhaust is gone and replaced by a deep rumble, it's a smooth sort of growl sound.

Much louder on startup and idle too. I do miss having the factory valve however.


The Magnaflow is noticeably lighter than the standard exhaust too, it's only 9kg.

Had to replace my faulty driver's door lock actuator again. Took a chance on a $40 one from China vs $300+ for a VW one. All went smoothly and the lock works. Let's hope it lasts.

What are the signs of this failing.

Door won't lock/unlock properly and can get stuck. Sometimes you'll pull the handle and nothing happens. Also if the alarm goes off when you unlock the car and open the door because it's not arming and disarming properly.

Tried replacing projector to gain highbeam function in the passenger light again. It didn't work ready to throw in the towel and just buy new headlight.

Is it just those 4 screws holding the projector in then it pulls straight out?
