Most of the hate comes form using them in conditions that they were not meant for. EBC doesn't recommend the yellows of track use but also states that they "can handle some". I'd say that's accurate based on my experience of street and tracking them. I still run them out back for the track. They are a good aggressive street pad. Dusty but not noisy. Reds are basically just street pads and folks think based on the way they are marketed that they are more..they aren't. Try them on a hard mountain run and you'll fade them easily. Aftermarket headlights? I read that putting small moisture absorbing pouches into headlight housing helps to get rid of this.Condensation in the headlight for the second time, 20min hair dryer did the trick this time
