ok, my back bumper has a pole dent in it, my front bumper has always been messed up somewhat, my rear passengerside fender needs new paint. and i need a new top. Instead of just fixing it, i was thinking about painting the whole kit.. and getting a new BLACk top instead of the grey one i have now.. So, this is the question... should i paint the kit and get a black top, or... spend nearly the same amount of money and keep it nice and stock lookin.... here are some photoshops i included to help u think if over..

here is another example of someone else who did this with a rabbit.. i think it looks really good..

nah i dont think it looks classy that way. cabrios have that classy element over hardtop rabbits.

BLACK KIT!! Back in the '80s and early 90s we used to love getting a Cabby or other kit in a complimentary color to our body color and mounting it. I had a silver with black kit. My buddy had a black with a white kit. Very old school, which equals hot ... do it!

This all reminds me of a guy from my city who had a white Cabby with a gold kit on it. While I thought he was pretty cool at the time(mid-ninties) now that I look back on it, it just seems like a really weird combination.

i should get it textured,.. then i would be cool like all the mk3 owners with their euro textured sidemoldings..
