Just curious what folks do for a living? I know some of you are students, and some have graduated and have regular jobs, some probably are doing both, and still others may not be doing either.
I'll start: I'm a mechanical engineer and working for a company in Littleton called MicroSat (employee #22). We are making three small satellites, each about the size of a coffee table, for the government as part of a technology demonstration.
The launch date is out in 2005.

I have been a mechanic by nature since was 11. But tuning h20 for a job now in my seventh year as a living. Was Colorado's first custom water-cooled tuner back then. Now opening a import race store to publically sell what I do for my customers now. published CU underGrad with BA in Anthropogy too.

What company? The company I work for is making an all composite (M55J) spacecraft structure. Just curious.

Just call me "super intern"
I work at Level 3 Communications about 30 hours a week, I'm a bouncer at "The Walrus" in Downtown Boulder about 15 hrs. a week, AND I am a full time student... (Does a G/F count in this catagory?)
WTF am i thinking???

Hell... when I end up with the cabby I want, I hope I'll have time to work on it...

Dave - great thread, I think it is nice for everyone to realize that behind these screen names and the somtimes stupid things we write to each other, we are people, some with and some without, lives.
My turn: I have 2 months left in my 4th year of medical school and I am starting my residency in Emergency Medicine in June (hopefully in Denver).
Now for the dating service bio: I am 5'11, 180lbs. I have a degree in biochemistry, am a wilderness medicine instructor and a ski/snowboard instructor. I enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, SCCA Racing, roller hockey, soccer, and PS2. And I like long moonlit walks along the beach...
Most important: I have a dub, a dog, and a girlfriend.
