What do you want? Just name it and it's "in the mail".

It's interesting that nobody cares about fuel economy with the sky high gas prices we've seen the last few months. Unfortunately, there are not too many people with kids on the Vortex, but we might see if there is a big change in preferences with the people who do have kids...

Looks (exterior/interior styling) like a woman I have to be attracted aesthetically.
2.
Spottiness (performance, handling) Because I am typically the only person in my vehicle 85% of the time.
3.
Utility (cargo/seating capacity) oddly enough my Jetta has a trunk, yet I am annoyed at the thought of anything in my trunk.
4.
Safety (traction/ABS, crash protection) no response.
5.
Fuel Economy, no response

Car has to be a good compromise out of all,
value for money has to be added

1. Looks (exterior/interior styling) (I simply won't drive an ugly car.)
2. Safety (traction/ABS, crash protection) (Too young to die.)
3. Sportiness (performance, handling) (It should be fun to drive.)
4. Utility (cargo/seating capacity) (Needs to be practical.)
5. Fuel Economy (As long as it's reasonable, not a big deal. I don't buy trucks.)
Fortunately with Volkswagen, we can have all of the above.

I didn't want to say price because obviously, except for a few lucky people, price is always a determining factor for all of us. And how much we can afford to spend on a car is determined by many other things that are unrelated to the car itself -- for example, how much you make, how much your disposable income is, your propensity to save, and your spending priorities. Let's just say "what do you look for when comparing cars in the same price range", okay?

If the car is a piece o'crap and can't hit a wall at 15 mph w/o killing the
occupants, it don't make the list.
2 - Looks (exterior/interior styling)
I have to be initially attracked to the car.
3 - Sportiness (performance, handling)
Now the car has to perform
4 - Utility (cargo/seating capacity)
Will it haul the kids?
5 - Fuel Economy
Last. Important, but not very.
Two kids (2 and 7)
They fit in the Scirocco, BTW
