i was wondering because i'm having a lot of problems with my car lately, its bone stock, nothing in it, and it is doing things a car with 100,000 miles should do but not one with 9,000 mile should, what does the dealer have to do with this, and how will this get my car fixed
thanks

Re: what do you need to do to use the LEMON LAW (Tornado Red 1.8T)

varies by state, your dealer should have given you a lemon law booklet.
Here it's something like 30 days in the shop for repairs, or 3 someod attempts to fix the same problem in the first year or 12kmi.

does anyone else know the law for this in RI, also how major does the problem need to be for it to be a three time fix, like i know its not if you got a broken cup holder, but is it like bad transmission, or is it doors dont shut properly or something much more major, i have the transmission trouble thats why i ask that

thanks guys

Well a lemon and state that has a law about it

Seriously check with the state Consumer Protection. I know in Mass they are really cool and will help out all the time. They will direct you to the best means of recourse. Hope it helps. Also run a check on the VIN number for any known defects.
