Im in the process of painting my Oettinger grill (jetta) silver arrow(the color the pictures below). I was thinking about painting the black metal mesh in the grill, a blue. I have already painted my calipers and front/back vw logo with the same blue paint. What do you think?

If you are painting that blue make sure that the bottom mesh inserts are blue also. It looks tacky with the bottom black and the grille blue. If you dont like blue you can always take it off and repaint it black. If you do it all I say go for it, it will look good, but then again its your car so do what you like to it, what do I know about your car.

Do it I think it looks good but just as what was allready said have it in a nice blue
