Re: What do you use for the following fluids? (Pagano)

My list after decades of research (called DIY mechanics):
Oil: Castrol GTX 20W50 (never gets cold enuff here to need anything else)
Gearbox/Diff: Redline MTL 75W90 (nver had an auto, so no choice of ATF)
Power Steering: Pentosin
Coolant: Prestone Long Life (Phosphate/Silicate free) mixed 50/50% with distilled water.
Brake Fluid: Castrol GT LMA (low moisture absorbtion DOT 4)
Washer Fluid: Whatever is on sale for $.89 when I need some.
Fluid change program is as, if not more, important as the fluids themselves, leave them in past their life and even the best will let you down!
Change Intervals:
Oil/Filter: 3000miles/3 months (change 4X year for cars driven only 10K miles or less ("toy" cars like my Spit)
Tranny/Diff: 30K miles
Brake Fluid: Every two years to prevent brake system corrosion/moisture boil fade.
Power Steering: Every 30K miles.
Coolant: Every 3 Years.
Had cars go well past 150K miles still working great, and if you took the valve cover off looking clean as new with this program!
