Credit Card? j/k
Armor All does help... I just painted the arms of my sciroccos with some rust resistant stuff.

Canadian tire and Walmart carry a wiper blade renewer. I think it's supposed to remove the built-up wax on the blades. Or I have also seen in magazines(only) a small v-shaped razor blade that shaves off a micro amount of the exposed rubber.

hehe..I had this plan to cut back on the amount of cash I spend on wiper blades..
[optimistic enthusiasm]Remove the two 16" blades and put on one 20" blade!!! I'll be cutting my expenses in half!!! [/optimistic enthusiam]
..unfortunately the mono wiper setup has killed a brand new 20" blade within 3 months.. I mean, I do live in Raincouver.. but c'mon!

I've tried cleaning it with alcohol.. but to no avail.. I guess I'll have to fork out the big bucks for a nice one next time, instead of Canadian Tire crap http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

Yeah exactly...I went and got wipers at the dealer AFTER I bought the canadian tire garbage. SIXTY bucks, but well worth it. I just need a way to keep them from wrecking. Im gonna try that rain-x stuff.

Yeah I know ALL about that stuff. I drove my Jetta around with busted wipers for a year and a half because of that stuff. Works awesome.
