as soon i let off the gas i can hear a little hum or a little vibration..hard to explain the noise. But its not lout at all and always happens as soon as i let of the gas. is this normal with an aftermarket exhaust? could the piping be loose? Anything to check for specifically?

is it a burbling noise making that. kind of backfiring. when letting off the gas real quick, it should make a lil bit of noise. this is normal.

i'm not sure but it will get louder with the down pipe. Mine gets really loud when let off the gas around 4k, and won't get quiet until 3k.

definately a little burbling noise, so i guess its normal and theres no way to stop that?
reason is because i'm gonna see if i can "quiet" my exhaust system down. gonna go under and check for loose piping and even dynomat the trunk of my car.
wasn't too loud before the dp, but now its louder.

Just as you hear the exhaust note on accelaration, you will also hear it as you let of the gas....If you hear an exhaust leak, check the connections ..the best way to check for a leak is on a hoist........

I just got my Magnaflow installed too....sounds great....love it loud! In fact I would like it even a little more aggressive....I'm hooked now! I got a cold b/c I drove around all weekend with the windows down listening to it.

I have a similar issue. When the car is cold and I am first taking off it makes a weird sound that sounds almost like something's rubbing (somewhat like a burbling sound too). Then it might happen again a few more times when I rev up to approx 1900 RPM or when starting from stopped. And then when the car warms, it goes away completely and no matter what I do I can't re-create the sound.
Mine was bought used from someone who hacked it up bad...and I didn't really know when I bought it what an issue it could be.

Thus the shop that installed it for me had to rig the heck out of the install. For the most part I'm happy, but I am concerned it's happening 2 days after getting it installed.....I fear that 2 mos. down the road this weird rattle/burble will be there all the time. If it becomes more of an issue I will bring it back to them to look at.
