There are two Coupe GTs in 87. One is the early which has a 2.22 liter engine rated at 110 horse if I remember right. The 87.5 Coupe is the special edition with the digital dash, 2.3 liter rated at 130 horse, and disc brakes in the back. Those are a fairly rare. Coupes in general aren't real common though. Most of the time they are neglected.

Just a small correction: All 1987 Coupe GTs (CGT) had digital dashes. The ditital dash was introduced in 1986 for the Commemerative Edition (CE) wich is a VERY rare bird. The 1987.5 CGT came with a digital dash but the ditinguising things are the body colored spoiler, B pillars and mirropr housings (for all colors except black). They also came with the 130 HP 2.3 ltr "NG" engine that was also used in the 1988 Audi 90 along with the rear disk brakes off the 80/90. The 87.5 CGT is getting harder and harder to find...if you find a nice one, grab it while it lasts. Prices for 87.5s are usually higher if the owner realizes it is a special car (previous owner of mine didn't
