I wanna make a project out of the .:R 32 but not sure what in the hell I want to do. NA or super or turbo or bi turbo? Stock exterior.

Upgrade the Haldex controller at a minimum.
The brakes are more than sufficient, though you would probably want non-OEM pads. This is from a friend who has tracked the R32 pretty extensively at MMP.
Suspension and/or sway bar upgrade if thats your fancy.
But if you want lots more power, get ready to spend a lot of money.

You could put 20th bumpers on it.

That would be a bit off of the norm. I think it would be cool that way though.

I saw the haldex upgrade and that looks like a great idea and of course sway bars... maybe those things and a chip and CAI? Thought about drop one inch and 18'' TSW hyperblack

Or maybe some BBS's

why dont you just make your car NOT look like an R, make look like a Golf GL or something very basic lookin, that would be original.

gonna have some type of aftermarket bumper if I was going to do that. Something original along the lines of something sporty... not creating a rabbit. BTW do you get commision for selling rims?

I get paid salary, no matter what I sell, I dont anything extra $$$ for selling wheels or pricey tires.

But doesnt it seem kinda redundant to make an R32 look like a basic VW? I would have VW owners everywhere pointing finger at me

Uh trust me I am not doing anything like that... I would castrate myself before doing anything like that. Maybe ill stick to the norms for now until I figure something out.

I dunno, I'm just of a minority (well with regards to most people on the tex) that most mods should be to take up slack in performance. Things like e-codes, city lights, tint, etc. I'm generally cool with though.

Well Im actually thinking more of performance mods... I only want to chnage the wheels maybe... but what different can I do to the engine. I talked with dustin about the possibility of doing what VW did with the 1.4L Iroc engine... turbo and super... probally wont work though

The HPA kit isn't cheap. And the VF Engineering kit, while cheaper, has its issues. Talk to Hans at Streamline about that one, he's done an install on a R32. And of course, I'm sure Thirty20 can do a custom setup for you.
