after reading all teh injector articals i found good info.. but for my specfic app i don;t know what i should get.. my goal is about 300 at the wheels.. here are some specs on what i have and what is on the way..
g60 turbo setup with the T3.
83mm pistons 9to 1 comp..
custom big valve head..
front mount IC..
custom radiator..
and some type of ECU setup..
right now i have the 8vturbo chip but that will be out dated when i do this setup..
i might run a 6 injector set up.. the greddy management system seems pretty nice to me.. so guys tell me what you think the setup i plan on useing is about now what i thought about was using #30 injectors and with the 2 injectors i could add with the greddy system use 2 stock g60 green tops.. do you think that would work or should i get something biger to start with or add bigger injectors to the 2 injector out put onthe greddy system.. maybe 2 more #30 for a total or 6..
Im doing a similar setup but staying w/ the G60 ,getting the 30# what info should i tell im ordering from http://www.injector.com
but dont know what to tell them
you`ll need at least a 288 cam for that kind of power and some serious head work .....just so you know jeroen dik is making that power and he has a 16v engine with every possible modification you can think of .......and he still has to rev it to 8000 rpms for that kind of power
quote:

i;m going to try to shoot for 300 to 350 at the wheels.. i know the 4 30# won;t do that but maybe 6 will..

not saying it cant be done its just going to take at least 10,000 dollars to do it reliably
10k you have to be kidding me.. i can do it for half that.. my engine alone is only costing me about $2,200.00 including pistons and gaskets.. as far as serious head work a custom big valve ported and polished head is as serious as you can get.. with proper injectors and engine management i know i can do it..
Plan on a turbo.I have heard all kinds of crap about JD engineering, and just don't seeit.300 whp in a rabbit,he should be able to pull off better than mid 13s.Somebodys full of BS here.
300whp,Yea right! You stand a better chance of catching a fart
ONEQUICK-
im not doubting you,...that was just my estimate: injectors, cam, sds, pistons, rods, honing the block, p+p, valvs, quaife+install, motor mounts(the front mount alone is like 250$), rrfpr, turbo, fmic, group N head .....are you going to get a new/upgraded tranny?
its cool joe i took no offense to it.. i guess the way i typed it made me look kinda pissy.. but its all good.. but under 10k i think o can go it..heres my price list
8vturbo setup $2,000.00 (complete with chip, bov, boost controller)
260 cam $130.00
83mm pistons 9to 1 comp with rings $600.00
block work B & B'ed $500.00
custom big valve head my core at local racing shop $700..
front mount IC custom plumbing $400.00
custom radiator to accomidate FMIC $300.00
and some type of ECU setup $300.00 to $2,000.00 max
#30 injectors $220.00 mustang set or 8
custom intake manifold 200.00 to 300.00 going to desing it myself..
ok just about 7g's i forgot to add parts i already have for my engine..
not sure what way i want to go with my chip tuning yet looking at the greddy system 300 price or all out haltech out sds.. and when its done i will dyno and show number.. the main thing holding me up now are waiting for the pistons be ready from the group buy.. once they come in the block and head go to the shop and i can start getting the other parts i need..

yes but with all that power your going to need a quaif and some Pauter(sp?) rods would be nice....valve spring.....headstuds rod bearing bolts (apr)...lightened flywheel...wrist pins....head gasket.........the sh!t adds up quick....i just did the math for my car and its going to run me about 12,000$ ...but im going with a supercharger....when i gert mine done and you get yours done we should meet up at a drag strip and see who has what...300 h.p. g60 turbo or a 300 h.p. g60 eaton....it will probably come down to the driver ...and im a horrible drive ...unless its my bike
the last email i got said early dec.. so i hope that true i can;t wait..
quote:

you got the pistons fromt he JRC groupbuy ?? , if so do you know how much longer its all im waiting on for my car

joe i guess i for got the other little thing like APRs and head gasket.. but thats cause i got them already.. all i need is the tranny setup and that might be awhile cause i don;t even know which way i want to go with that yet.. custom geared 5 speed or 6 speed from kraftwerks.. if i were you i wouldn;t worry about the rods the g60 rods are strong enought.. as far as us racing when its done that would be cool.. one day we can meet up at one of the shows and have some fun..
