Hi all,
I am buildign me a 16v turbo & am right now shopping for parts, i'm trying to figure out what injectors will fit in my rocco intake manifold.
Obviouly CIS-e will, but I plan to go programmable engine management right off the bat, so I think i'll need digifant or newer injectors to work with that...
So, what will fit?
Alternately, if I build my own intake manifold for turboing (shorter runners up front) anyone know where to get weld in aluminum injector bosses, or is this a mchine your own kinda situation...
thanks,
Steve

$2 compression fittings. Worked in a 350rwhp rx7. I think they'll work fine in my 10psi car. If you want more info, let me know.
edit: That's more for an additional injector setup. About you question about what injectors will fit, I think you can run Mercedes injectors if you're keeping cis-e, but I don't know much about this. If you're switching to electronic, you can run digifant stuff I think. You just need the injector seats and stuff. I don't know if you have to modify the injector part on the intake manifold though. Also, check out the 20v turbo manifold from an Audi. I heard it can be made to work. There's some custom work (Lopping off one runner and changing the throttle body location), but it's pretty sweet. I believe one of Hardcore VWs boys (Paul I think) had a modified short runner 16v manifold.

I would be interested in a bit more info... I am going 100% programmable EFI, so I am looking for replacement injectors, not additional injectors BTW...
thanks,
Steve
edit: oops, I read your edit just after I posted my response, thanks for the update.

Well.. for anyone that wants to know... I got these compression fittings that are one size on one side and a smaller size on the other. I can't remember the sizes offhand. Anyway, you screw the nut off the smaller side and take out that little ball with the hole in it. You drill out your manifold and screw it into the runner. I chose to JB weld the threads and screw them in. The RX7 just had JB weld put on after the piece was screwed in. And there you go. You have an injector boss. You just unscrew the top nut, put the nut around the injector and slip the ball with the whole in it on right after.Screw it in and make the necessary connections for fuel and signal. I can get the exact numbers of the fittings I used, but it might take a little bit.
Because we're getting into some backyard type stuff, this is for educational purposes only. I don't accept any liability for anyone's actions. If you choose to use this method, it is solely YOUR responsibility. I've never had a problem with the setup, but that's not to say you won't. I don't know anyone's skill level or mental capacity.

you should be able to put the injector bushing in from a corrado, and use any standard bosch style injectors with the right flow rate and impedence for your ecu.
check out this site for info to match injector flow rate to hp output of your engine.

eip makes a billet fuel rail too, msd makes weld in/epoxy in injecotr bosses, but they are expensive, and electromotive sells a d shaped extrusion for making your own fuel rail. good luck.

from what ive been told, the g60 injectors cups screw into the 16v intake manifold. this would allow you to use electronic injectors with a custom fuel rail.
