okay guys i wanted to kknow what are the best rotors for the 92' gti 8v........
slotted or cross drilled?? i was thinking bout ordering the ATE joints and what brake pads? i heard OEM is one of the best ......

I think stock is the best, unless you're going for show and need some sick crossdrilled/slotted rotors behind your 18s

I have recently installed ATE Powerstop rotors and Mintex pads, and the setup seems quite excellent to me. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
I personally prefer slotted over cross-drilled aftermarket rotors because I have heard that cross-drilleds are prone to cracking when they get really hot. I'd definitely take some Porsche brakes anyday though! They are manufactured differently though (I think they are cast with the holes, I could be wrong...) but all in all I'm happy with what i've got.

i agree, with mintex brake pads youll definitely feel the difference.
