Thanks to everyone on this forum. I have really enjoyed reading the posts.
I have a 2004 Porsche Cayenne 3.2l VR6 (Base model) that has catastrophic engine failure. While taking the engine apart, getting the block ready to be cleaned and machined, I found this part lying on the table. It appears to be a small check valve. Is this the oil relief valve that resides in the corner of the block? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

looks like an oil squirter to me, but that's just a guess. mine were similar shape and size, but different bevels, etc, on the mk4 r32 vr6.
