The only thing I can say is don't spend another penny on your car until you get a GIAC chip. It's that good. I love mine. I wish I had done it first. I got mine from AWE for $130 + $7 shipping. I did check around and most places charge exactly the same abount so to me it was a matter of getting it from a reliable place and I'd heard good things about them.
You will have to desolder the factory chip and then install a socket before the GIAC goes in. If this is something you can't or don't want to do, just take it to a stereo repair place.
