What is the best piping diameter 2 1/4 2.5 or 3 in

Which one is best for a 2.0 and will I loose power if I go with a 2.5 inch exaust. What diameter do I start loosing back pressure?A little confused on the whole exaust thingy
I am REALLY interested in the magna flow catback sytem. what is the piping on that one?

i just went through all of this...so i have all the answers.. ahhaha 2 1/4 is perfect all the way through.. with minor modifications...like camshaft,cam gear,header etc etc...i would run a little bigger than 2 1/4 .. thats what i did this weekend.... 2.5 all the way through is too big for a n/a system... if you had forced induction a 2.5 or 3 inch would help greatly depending on your application...i got a little bigger than 2 1/4 piping all the way from the cat....to my rear muffler.....the gain is throttle response is much crisper..and i did notice some more low end torque...so the outcome
