Re: what is the corract offset for a C (TheCancer)
Offset is the distance between the centerline of the wheel and the mounting surface, and changes with wheel width.
The stock BBS wheel on a 91' G60 has an offset (labeled ET on the wheels) of 33mm. To have the inner rim the same distance from the suspension, the same backspace, a 7.5x15 wheel would have to have 12mm less offset, or an ET21.
In actuality, there is more room back there. I have 7.5x15 wheels with ET29, and they are a touch over 1/4" closer to the suspension, but fit perfectly.
On a corrado, the bigest limiting factor for backspacing (the spot you will rub first) is the rear swingarm. Since the swingarm is angled in a bit, when you go to larger diameter wheels you have more backspace available.
If you look in the wheel and tire forum, there is a discussion about this titled "offset-false information?" or something like that.
